Antoine Griezmann has sent a message to Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge on social media website Twitter, much to the annoyance of Manchester United supporters.
United almost signed Griezmann from Atletico Madrid this summer, but the deal collapsed at the last minute.
There is still suggestions that Griezmann will end up at Old Trafford in the near future though, as reported by the Daily Express, and Red Devils fans appear to be keeping a close eye on the French forward.
As a result, Griezmann messaging Liverpool forward Sturridge does not seem to have gone down well.
Griezmann and Sturridge traded shirts following Liverpool’s friendly against Atleti in the Audi Cup last night, and the pair were keen to show off their new possessions on Twitter.
The message from Griezmann was not a popular one though, with plenty of United fans frustrated with the clinical forward for seemingly making friends with the Liverpool man.
