Glasgow Rangers and Motherwell go head-to-head this weekend.

Rangers travel to Fir Park this weekend to take on Motherwell in their opening game of the new Scottish Premiership season.

The Gers have already crashed out of Europe after losing 2-1 on aggregate to Progress Niederkorn and they will want to get off to the best possible start domestically to put that disappointment behind them.

Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha has spent the summer significantly strengthening his squad in key areas and many of the club's new faces should be on show this weekend.

Their last friendly of the summer was a 2-0 victory against Sheffield Wednesday, with the Gers winning courtesy of goals either side of half time from Josh Windass and Kenny Miller.

Both players can expect to start on Sunday, while new additions Graham Dorrans, Bruno Alves, Ryan Jack, Eduardo Herrera, Daniel Candeias and Fabio Cardoso should also retain their places from the match against the Owls.

Rangers will know they have a lot of work to do if they wish to get close to reigning champions Celtic this season, but they have the players to give it a great shot.

With that in mind here is how we expect Rangers to line up for their vital opener this weekend:
