HITC Sport understands former Wigan striker set for League Two move.
Carlisle United are poised to sign former Wigan striker Sam Cosgrove on a free transfer, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Cosgrove is a free agent after seeing out his contract at Wigan earlier this summer.

Cosgrove made only one first-team appearance during his time at the DW Stadium with a late substitute's appearance in the EFL Cup against Oldham Athletic last season.
Cosgrove was a regular in Wigan's Under-21s side, but he spent most of his time out on loan at non-league sides Barrow, Nantwich Town and Chorley.
