Everton are, according to The Sun, interested in signing Nice star Jean Seri if Gylfi Sigurdsson fails to join The Toffees.
Everton manager Ronald Koeman has been chasing the Iceland playmaker for much of the summer but the Dutchman is yet to match Swansea City's £50 million valuation.
As a consequence, Koeman has seemingly turned his attentions toward Seri who, according to RMC Sport, has a £35 million buyout clause with the Ligue 1 outfit.
Barcelona and Tottenham have also been linked with Seri, but Everton fans, for the most part, would love to see him at Goodison Park it seems.
I'm a massive fan of his, but just can't see it. Doesn't really fit the Koeman high energy template— Andy H (@Andy_H_EFC) July 28, 2017

I'd love to see him here, although he's a completely different player in comparison to Gylfi— Zac (@LionelBesic) July 28, 2017

Koeman has spent over £100 million on transfers this summer and surely the former Southampton boss wouldn't hesitate to launch a £35 million move for Seri if he wanted him.
But, as mentioned, the likes of Tottenham and Barcelona also appear to be in the mix and convincing him to snub a Champions League club could be tricky for Everton.
