Birmingham City have allowed three youngsters to go out on loan for the first half of the 2017/18 season.

Birmingham City manager Harry Redknapp continues to reshape his squad after the club announced earlier this week that three players from the youth team have secured loan deals away from the club.

Winger Viv Solomon-Otabor has joined Blackpool on loan until January whilst 21-year-old duo Dan Cleary and Connal Trueman have joined local side Solihull Moors.

Goalkeeper Trueman was recently rewarded with a new three-year deal with the Midlands club following some very impressive performances for the development side in the 2016/17 season.

Former Liverpool man Cleary is yet to make a first team appearance for Blues, the same goes for Trueman, but once again after some impressive performances in the under 23's squad, there is potential for him to play a part for the club in the future.Dan Cleary of Liverpool in action during the Barclays U21 Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur U21 and Liverpool U21 at The Lamex Stadium on October 23, 2015 in Stevenage,...

Left-winger Solomon-Otabor has found chances very limited with Blues and following a stint with Bolton Wanderers last season on their way back to the Championship, he is now heading back into League One.

With all three deals seeing the trio stay with their new clubs until January, it is highly likely that they will return to Blues and play some part in the second half of the Championship campaign.
