Everton start their Europa League campaign later this week.
Everton start their season earlier than most, with a Europa League qualifying clash against Slovakian side Ruzomberek on Thursday evening.
The Toffees will have seen what Manchester United did last season, winning the competition and subsequently qualifying for the Champions League, and feel they can do the same if they play to their full potential and get some luck along the way.
Everton have had the most impressive summer transfer window to date, signing Michael Keane, Sandro Ramirez, Wayne Rooney, Jordan Pickford and Davy Klaassen, while also securing Henry Onyekuru before sending him back on loan to Belgium.
If Toffees boss Ronald Koeman takes this competition seriously, there is no reason why Everton cannot go far, but they have to negotiate a tricky fixture before they can think about the group stage.
The first leg is at Goodison Park on Thursday with the return in Slovakia just a week later.
When you consider Everton's domestic campaign does not kick off until mid-August, their players will have to hit the ground running and Koeman will have ensured they are ready during training.
With that in mind here is how we expect Everton to line up against Ruzomberek this week:
