There has been no rumours about his re-signing, but Leeds United fans wouldn't want Aston Villa man back.
Ross McCormack looks like he might be leaving Aston Villa this summer.
The 30-year-old looks, at the moment, like a terrible signing following his £12 million arrival at Aston Villa 12 months ago and manager Steve Bruce - who didn't sign him - did not bring him on the pre-season tour of Germany, plunging his future into further doubt.
McCormack was a hugely popular figure at Leeds United during his four-year spell at Elland Road, scoring 53 league goals in 144 outings for the Whites.
And it just so happens that Leeds could do with another striking option to provide cover and competition for Chris Wood, who grabbed 30 in all competition last season.
One man on Twitter asked his fellow United fans whether they would have him back and suffice to say that the vast majority of responses were not in favour of re-signing the Scot.
I know the say never look back to the past but if Ross McCormack became available would you like to him back at Leeds? Would score #lufc— Ryan (@LeedsUtdRyan) July 21, 2017

If he can't even be arsed to jump over his own gate I wouldn't trust him to break a sweat for us.— Paul O'Connell (@PaulOConnell100) July 21, 2017
No. Questionable commitment now.— Alistair Walker (@8ballali) July 21, 2017

Absolutely— Simon green (@Simongreen19) July 21, 2017
Think we had the best of him so no real benefit to giving him a second crack. Particularly when he now appears to have an attitude problem.— Prokyp (@Prokyp) July 21, 2017
McCormack was a great player for Leeds, but the Whites are a club on the up and the fans are right - re-signing him would look like a backwards step.
