Kyle Walker made his debut for Manchester City after his big money move from Tottenham Hotspur.

Kyle Walker's first outing as a Manchester City player ended in defeat as his side were beaten 2-0 by Manchester United.

The right-back was making his debut in the pre-season friendly, one week after his £54 million move from Tottenham Hotspur.

Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford scored the goals to give United their third win in a week.

Walker finds himself under the spotlight after his big money move and this is just the start of his journey.

The right-back managed to impress fans despite the lack of a clean sheet, with supporters feeling the club have bought well.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

City's defeat did however bring some amusement to Tottenham supporters, who had been upset by Walker's comments that he moved on because he felt he would have a greater chance of winning trophies in Manchester [BBC Sport].

Walker had been a regular in Tottenham's team since joining from Sheffield United in 2009 and said he wanted to come 'out of his comfort zone'.
