According to the Daily Mail, Rangers are in talks over a deal to sign free agent midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe – but face competition from Barnsley and Preston North End.
The Gers have already brought in nine new signings this summer, with manager Pedro Caixinha swooping to land Bruno Alves, Fabio Cardoso, Ryan Jack, Carlos Pena, Graham Dorrans, Dalcio, Daniel Candeias, Alfredo Morelos and Eduardo Herrera.

However, having been remarkably dumped out of the Europa League at the first hurdle by Luxembourg's Progres Niederkorn, pressure remains on manager Caixinha.
More additions may be needed as a result, and the Daily Mail report that Rangers are now in talks with midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe about a move to Ibrox.
However, it's also noted that Championship clubs Barnsley and Preston North End are also pursuing deals for Tunnicliffe, meaning he may well have three offers to choose from this summer.
Tunnicliffe, 24, came up through the ranks with Manchester United, but after just two first-team appearances for the Red Devils, he was sold to Fulham in January 2014.
Tunnicliffe failed to nail down a regular starting spot at Craven Cottage, and after two loan spells with Wigan Athletic and a stint with Blackburn Rovers, his contract expired without renewal this summer.
The midfielder is now searching for a new club, and Rangers appear to have made their move for him, and will hope to beat the competition to sign him.
