Leeds United are said to have an interest in signing Alvaro Negredo from Valencia this summer.
Leeds new technical director, Victor Orta, was responsible for bringing Negredo to Middlesbrough on loan last season.
And HITC suggested earlier this summer, that he could look to do so again at Leeds.
It now seems that Orta could be set to use his connection to help Leeds secure what would surely be one of the most sensational signings of the summer.

Negredo scored 10 goals for Middlesbrough in the Premier League last term, and had a spell at Manchester City earlier in his career.
If he was to arrive at Leeds, Negredo would be one of the most feared front men in the Championship.
Leeds already have Chris Wood up-front, and a potential partnership with Negredo could be a tantalising prospect for the Elland Road crowd.
Negredo’s wages could be a stumbling block for Leeds though, as he is thought to be on a big contract at Valencia.
And it is worth treating the rumour with some scepticism, with the Whites still seemingly having a lot of work to do to complete a deal for the Spanish international.
