Leeds United have added the young Spaniard to their ranks.
Leeds United are in the midst of a busy summer of transfers and it shows no signs of stopping, with young striker Adrian Balboa becoming the latest new face at Elland Road.
While the likes of Ezgjan Alioski, Samu Saiz and Caleb Ekuban will all be appearing in the first-team next season, Balboa will start his Leeds career with the club's under-23s and he has the innate talent to form a devastating long-term partnership with Mallik Wilks.
The latter was one of the few positives for Leeds' under-23s during their woeful campaign last time out and big things are expected of the teenager in time.
That said, having not been included in Leeds' pre-season travelling party, Wilks looks set to continue his development in the second string, and if he strikes up a rapport with Balboa the two could be scoring for fun sooner rather than later.
Wilks is one of the most naturally gifted strikers Leeds have produced in quite some time and given Balboa's form at youth level for former club U.D. Unifacion Bellvitge - where he has set new records in the team - it seems the Whites could be set to enjoy a far better season at under-23 level when the action kicks off next month.
No one will be expecting too much too soon from Balboa, but expect the goals to flow once he has his feet under the table at his new club.
