Scottish U-21 international Ryan Fulton moves from boyhood club Liverpool to Hamilton Academical.

Scottish Premiership side Hamilton Academical have signed Liverpool U-21 goalkeeper Ryan Fulton on a 2-year-deal from Liverpool, confirmed the club.

Andre WisdomAndre Wisdom is the only other player to have left Anfield this season (so far)

The Scotland U-21 international had loan spells at Portsmouth and Chesterfield in the past two seasons. The 21-year-old leaves the club, after a ten-year stint on Merseyside to provide competition to Garry Woods who started the season (in the League Cup) as the first choice for the Accies.

The youngster had been on the fringes of the first team under previous manager Brendan Rodgers and made the substitutes bench for the first team on four separate occasions in the 2015/16 season.

Having made 26 appearances for Chesterfield in League One last season, it seems to be the right time to move for the youngster with the likes of Loris Karius, Danny Ward and Simon Mignolet ahead of him in the pecking order at Anfield.

A regular in the U-21 squad for Scotland, regular football in the Scottish Premiership would go a long way in providing him with the platform to break into the senior team.
