Mourinho has rung the changes tonight, and has most importantly handed a start to new signing Romelu Lukaku, who leads the line in the United attack tonight with Rashford only on the bench.

Young goalkeeper Joel Pereira starts, with Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Victor Lindelof, Phil Jones and Daley Blind forming a four-man defence just days after Mourinho trialled a three-at-the-back setup.

Scott McTominay, Paul Pogba and Michael Carrick start in midfield, whilst Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Jesse Lingard will flank lone frontman Lukaku in the final third.

David De Gea, Sergio Romero, Chris Smalling, Antonio Valencia, Marouane Fellaini, Ander Herrera, Juan Mata and Anthony Martial join Rashford on the bench, along with youngsters Demetri Mitchell, Axel Tuanzebe and Andreas Pereira.
