Aston Villa are back in pre-season action this evening as they make the short trip to take on local rivals Walsall at the Bescot Stadium.
Villa slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Shrewsbury Town over the weekend, and manager Steve Bruce has named a strong line-up for tonight's matchup.
Sam Johnstone started in goal having completed his return from Manchester United, whilst James Bree and trialist Christopher Samba start in defence alongside John Terry and Neil Taylor.
Henri Lansbury, Conor Hourihane and Birkir Bjarnason form a midfield trio, with Jordan Amavi and Andre Green called upon to provide width either side of striker Gabriel Agbonlahor.
Bruce has a strong substitutes bench this evening, with Mark Bunn, James Chester, Ross McCormack, Aaron Tshibola and Alan Hutton among those available.
Fringe players Micah Richards and Jordan Veretout are both on the bench, as are Jordan Lyden and striker Scott Hogan, who has yet to really live up to his billing since his January move from Brentford, as well as Keinan Davis, Mitchell Clark and Jake Hayes.
