Anita joined Leeds from Newcastle United earlier this summer, and the Dutchman’s versatility in one of his greatest strengths.
Anita is comfortable at full-back or in a central midfield spot, but it is expected that Christiansen will use the 28-year-old on the right hand side of Leeds’ defence.
Leeds already have Luke Ayling and Gaetano Berardi able to play at right-back, and Anita’s arrival in that position makes Christiansen’s options look very strong.
Both Ayling and Berardi were solid options for Leeds last campaign, but the pair are also comfortable in other positions.
Ayling can play at centre-back, while Berardi is often stationed at left-back - and Leeds are currently short of options in both positions.
Anita is one of a number of signings which Leeds have already made this summer, with more new arrivals set to follow before the end of the transfer window.
