HITC Sport understands Reading target Fulham star Aluko
Fulham’s Sone Aluko celebrates a goal last season
Reading are lining up a surprise move for Fulham forward Sone Aluko, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Aluko only joined Fulham last summer on a free transfer from Hull City and he impressed in his debut season at Craven Cottage.
The Nigerian international scored nine goals as Fulham reached the Championship play-off finals only to lose to Reading.

Reading are now hoping to lure Aluko away from their promotion rivals as Jaap Stam looks to bolster his attacking options at the Madejski Stadium.
The Royals have so far been frustrated in their attempts to bring in a new forward and Stam has now switched his attentions to Aluko.
Stam is a big fan of Aluko as the former Rangers man can play anywhere across the frontline and his pace would bring a different dimension to the Reading side next season.
Aluko is entering the final year of his contract at Fulham and losing the 28-year-old would come as a major blow to Slavisa Jokanovic’s plans for the upcoming Championship campaign.
Reading have so far only brought in Pelle Clement this summer and Stam is determined to add to his squad before the new season kicks-off next month.
