Leeds United's Kyle Bartley celebrates scoring their second goal

Swansea City defender Kyle Bartley played on loan at Leeds United last season.

Kyle Bartley spent the 2016-17 season on loan at Leeds United from Swansea City. The defender formed a formidable partnership with Pontus Jansson at the back for the Whites, who narrowly failed to finish in the top six of the Championship.

Leeds are interested in securing the services of the former Arsenal prospect in the summer transfer window, according to The Yorkshire Evening Post, but the West Yorkshire outfit would have to wait.

Bartley is currently on Swansea’s USA tour, as the Premier League club step up their pre-season preparations ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.

Leeds are one of the biggest clubs in England and have fans all over the world, including the USA. A couple of the West Yorkshire outfit’s supporters caught up with the 26-year-old centre-back in the US.

The former Arsenal prospect featured for Swansea in the pre-season friendly match against the Philadelphia Union at the Talen Energy Stadium in Chester, Pennsylvania at the weekend.
