Having missed out on Fulham defender Ryan Sessegnon and Monaco left-back Benjamin Mendy, the Reds have shifted their attention towards the 23-year-old Hull left-back.
The report claims that Robertson’s arrival is likely to trigger the departure of Alberto Moreno, who is considered surplus to requirements at the Anfield club.
Hull City's Andrew Robertson looks dejected
Robertson has made 115 appearances for Hull since joining the club in 2014 from Dundee United. However, following Hull’s relegation to the Championship, he is looking for a move away from KCOM stadium.
Liverpool fans seem divided in their opinion on the player, based on reactions gathered from social networking site, Twitter.
While some fans are urging the club to sign him, many are sceptical about the move but are putting their complete trust on manager Jurgen Klopp.
Let us take a look at some of the reactions:

Great.. lets get depth in our reserves.— Ricky Marsden (@rickymarzdn) July 15, 2017
Glad we got a LB in but I'm not convinced by Robertson. Will struggle to oust Milner who (although not a LB) gives 100% in training to play.— Red Rivelino (@RedRivelino) July 15, 2017
He's quality, he can defend and attack very good delivery from the sides. He's a bargain give it 12 months he will be worth 30+ million— Deedna (@deedna00) July 15, 2017
For all dismissing Robertson before he's played for #LFC. If it's ok by you, I think I'll back Klopps judgment over yours, no hard feelings.— DavidJohn (@DavidJhn77) July 15, 2017
Hope Liverpool are not signing Robertson as a 1st team starter, sure nice player but far cry from what we need to fix our defensive problems— LA (@Lyleos_13) July 14, 2017
