Diario Hoy has reported that Tottenham Hotspur target Juan Foyth will travel to London on Sunday to complete his move to the Premier League giants.
The Daily Mail reported this week that Estudiantes president Juan Sebastian Veron had flown to the English capital to finalise the deal with his friend Mauricio Pochettino.
It went on to claim that Tottenham would pay around £9 million for the 19-year-old Argentine defender, who confirmed Spurs' interest to El Dia this week.
And Diario Hoy has claimed in a recent report that Foyth will travel to England in the "next few hours" to complete his switch to the Lilywhites.
Speaking to the same publication, he said: "I know they are negotiating with Tottenham but I tried to stay focused on the game we were going to play."
If it materialises, Foyth would become Pochettino's first signing in what has been a low-key summer transfer window.
But the Argentine coach has cash on the hip after selling Kyle Walker to Manchester City for £54 million on Friday afternoon.
