Tottenham Hotspur have wasted no time in finding an able replacement for Kyle Walker, after a deal in the region of £50 million has been agreed for the England right-back, reports the Telegraph.
Spurs have moved in quickly for Porto’s highly rated full-back Ricardo Pereira, but the north London club could face a strong competition from Juventus.
Mauricio Pochettino, the Spurs manager, wants to add a right-back to compete with Kieran Trippier, and Pereira is top of his wish list.

Pereira, 23, has a reported release clause of £22 million (€25 million), and Porto are confident that their asking price would be met.
According to reports from Portugal newspaper O Jogo (printed version; page 13), Spurs have made a formal offer of around €15 million (£13.2 million) which is way below Porto’s asking price.
Naturally, the offer has been rejected straightaway, with Porto demanding the full release clause to be met. Spurs remain interested and they would consider meeting the valuation.
The report also claims that Serie A champions, Juventus, are interested in Pereira as they are seeking a right back after Dani Alves’ departure.
Pereira has spent the last two seasons in Ligue 1, on loan at Nice.
