Kyle Walker has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at joining Manchester City from Tottenham Hotspur.

Walker has left Tottenham for Premier League rivals City on a five-year contract, as announced on the Citizens’ official website.

The 27-year-old right-back has taken to Twitter to send a message to Tottenham and City.

Walker is one of the best right-backs in the Premier League, and his arrival at the Etihad Stadium is only going to enhance City’s chances of winning the league title next season.

The former Sheffield United man has progressed hugely over the past two or so years, and his runs down the right are going to add an extra dimension to City’s attack.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham, who finished second in the Premier League last season, will sign a new right-back now that Walker has left.
