The 23-year-old is linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
According to The Standard, Porto believe that Tottenham Hotspur will pay £22 million to sign Ricardo Pereira if Kyle Walker completes his move to Manchester City.
The Standard reported on Wednesday that Tottenham have told their Premier League rivals to cough up another £10 million for the 27-year-old, after Pep Guardiola's side lodged a £50 million offer for the right-back.
Pereira is linked with a switch to North London and, according to the same publication, Porto are confident that Spurs will pay the £22 million needed to prise the 23-year-old defender from Portugal this summer.
Kieran Trippier is expected to be promoted into the first XI but Lilywhites boss Mauricio Pochettino wants competition for the ex-Burnley man, the report also claims.
It's a wise move by the Argentine.
Trippier is very talented, but Pochettino would be mad to not sign a replacement for Walker. Competition is very healthy and Pereira is likely to push Trippier harder than Kyle Walker-Peters, who could be a class act for Tottenham but, for now, he is untested.
