Bristol City's Lee Tomlin celebrates scoring a goal
Cardiff City have agreed a deal to sign Bristol City forward Lee Tomlin, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Tomlin has yet to feature for Bristol City so far this pre-season and Robins boss Lee Johnson is reluctantly willing to let him move on.
Former Peterborough and Middlesbrough star Tomlin joined Bristol City on loan from Bournemouth in January 2016 before making the move permanent later that summer after scoring six goals in 18 appearances on loan.

Tomlin made 42 appearances in all competitions for Bristol City last season, scoring seven goals, but his future at Ashton Gate has been the subject of speculation since the end of last term.
Tomlin is regarded as one of the most creative attackers in the Championship and his arrival will come as a major boost to Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock as he looks to mould his side into one capable of challenging for promotion.
Warnock has been looking to add some creativity and guile to his side this summer after missing out on signing Johnny Hayes after Celtic won the race for the Irishman and also seeing Peter Whittingham leave for Blackburn Rovers.
