Southend United, Oxford United, Fleetwood Town and Bristol Rovers are eyeing moves for Plymouth Argyle defender Sonny Bradley, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.

Bradley was outstanding for Plymouth last season after joining on a free transfer from Crawley Town last summer.

The powerful defender was a virtual ever-present for Plymouth last season as he helped them win promotion from League Two and as well as his impressive defensive displays he chipped in with seven goals for the Pilgrims.

Bradley was rewarded for his superb showings for Plymouth by being named in the PFA League Two Team of the Year.

The former Hull and Portsmouth man's displays for Plymouth have brought him to the attention of several clubs with the likes of Southend, Oxford, Fleetwood and Bristol Rovers all keeping tabs on his situation as they look to bolster their defensive options ahead of the new season kicking off next month.

Plymouth are keen to keep hold of Bradley as they prepare for life back in League One next season, but they are bracing themselves for interest in the central defender before the close of the transfer window.
