Former Tottenham player says to trust Mauricio Pochettino.
Spurs are yet to sign a player, while Arsenal and Liverpool have both broken their transfer records.
Roberts, commenting on Twitter, says Tottenham's team is so strong already that they do not need to over spend and fans should have faith in Mauricio Pochettino to choose the right players.
Stop worrying about our transfer dealing. I'm sure the manager knows who he wants.last season best defence, most goals,COYS— Graham Roberts (@GrahamRoberts4) July 6, 2017
Roberts is right that Spurs do not have to panic, but the signings made since Pochettino came to the club have been mixed at best.
While there have been gems like Dele Alli, there have been major failures like Federico Fazio, Clinton N'Jie and Moussa Sissoko.
Tottenham's Moussa Sissoko waits with manager Mauricio Pochettino before coming on as substitute
How much of that is down to Pochettino isn't really clear, but this is the first summer Spurs have entered since his arrival without head of recruitment Paul Mitchell in place.
This could mean that Pochettino has more control over the targets and gets players he really wants, but Tottenham have learned in the past that leaving business until deadline day is a dangerous game to play.
