Southampton midfielder Harrison Reed is poised to join Norwich City on a season-long loan deal, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club
Reed is highly regarded at Southampton having come through the club’s famed youth academy and he made his debut as a 17-year-old in 2013.
However, Reed has found himself down the pecking order at St. Mary’s in recent seasons and his first-team chances have been limited.
The former England under-20 international made just three Premier League appearances last season after making 10 the previous year.

New Southampton boss Mauricio Pellegrino is happy to send Reed out on loan so that he can get some regular football under his belt before returning to fight for his place in the Saints team.
A number of clubs have shown an interest in taking Reed on loan, but Norwich have moved quickly to agree a deal for the 22-year-old.
Norwich are in the market for midfield reinforcements with Jonny Howson and Graham Dorrans on the verge of moves to Middlesbrough and Glasgow Rangers respectively, and Reed would prove an ideal replacement for either of those two players.
