Tottenham and Everton are reportedly keen on Bournemouth striker Joshua King.

According to The Mirror, Bournemouth attacker Joshua King is unsure about a move to Tottenham Hotspur – and Everton could swoop in to land him instead.

King, 25, came through the Manchester United ranks following a 2008 move from Valerenga in his native Norway, but he moved on to Blackburn Rovers in 2013 following a successful loan spell.

The forward only scored eight times in 74 games for Rovers, but he has flourished since joining Bournemouth in 2015, notching seven goals in the 2015-16 season before exploding last term, smashing 16 Premier League goals.

A remarkable 2017 has seen King attract major interest, but The Mirror claim that King isn’t convinced about a move to Tottenham Hotspur, as he would be worried about his playing time.

Harry Kane is Tottenham’s leading striker and isn’t about to be displaced any time soon, whilst the two players behind him – if Mauricio Pochettino sticks with a 3-4-2-1 – are also firmly entrenched, in Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli.

King is understood to be valuing first-team football above a financial boost, and his doubts over a switch to North London may just allow Premier League rivals Everton in to snap him up.

The Toffees will be looking for attacking reinforcements whether Romelu Lukaku leaves or not, and even with Spaniard Sandro Ramirez joining the Toffees, another versatile forward who can also lead the line is wanted at Goodison Park.

King fits the bill perfectly, and would almost certainly stand to play more first-team football with Everton than Tottenham, meaning Ronald Koeman’s men could take full advantage and swoop in to sign King this summer.
