Chris Hussey in action with Bury
Championship new boys Sheffield United are willing to let Hussey move on as he does not figure in Chris Wilder's plans at Bramall Lane.
Hussey, who has one year left on his deal at Bramall Lane, has been placed on the transfer list after finding himself down the pecking order at the club.
The 28-year-old, who joined United from Bury last summer, started last season as United's first choice left-back, but he then found himself out-of-favour during the second half of the campaign.

Hussey made 11 appearances in all competitions as United won promotion to the Championship after winning League One.
A number of clubs have been alerted to Hussey's availability this summer and United have received several enquiries to take the left-back on loan.
Newly-promoted League One trio Portsmouth, Plymouth and Blackpool are all looking to bolster their defensive options this summer and they are weighing up a move for Hussey.
Swindon are also keen on Hussey with new Robins boss David Flitcroft a huge admirer of the left-back having worked with him during his time in charge of Bury.
