West Ham United and Leicester City are keen on the Monchengladbach man.

Reports emanating from France today suggest that three Premier League clubs including the Hammers and the Foxes are interested in signing Borussia Monchengladbach star Thorgan Hazard, according to French media outlet Foot Mercato.

The 24-year-old attacking midfielder – brother of Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, enjoyed a successful campaign in the Bundesliga last term, scoring six goals and chipping in with four assists in 23 outings for his club.

Foot Mercato claim that West Ham and Leicester’s interest in the Belgian has intensified following his impressive showings last season, and they have been joined in the race to sign him by fellow Premier League side Stoke City.

Hazard would be a useful signing for all of the aforementioned clubs, and the fact that he can play anywhere along the front-line, even in the centre-forward position, would surely be a huge attraction to any potential suitors.

The former Chelsea star has just two years remaining on his current deal with Gladbach, so now would seemingly be the ideal time to sell him, as far as his peak value is concerned.

From all the clubs listed as holding an interest in the Belgian, the Hammers are arguably the team most in need of someone of Hazard’s quality.

Slaven Bilic is desperately looking to bolster his forward options, and the potential addition of Hazard could be just what the club needs to help them kick on next season.
