Leeds get boost in Alioski chase.
Leeds United have been given a boost in their pursuit of Ezgjan Alioski as Swiss side Lugano concede defeat in attempts to keep the player.
Swiss newspaper Basler Zeitung report Lugano have already begun searching for a replacement for the Macedonia international.

Alioski contributed 17 goals in all competitions for Lugano last season as he helped them clinch a surprise third place finish.
His 16 league goals was enough to make him the third highest goalscorer in Switzerland last season and he won’t be an easy player to replace, but the search has begun.

Leeds are in a strong position to sign Alioski with Corriere del Ticino reporting the Whites have already made contact with the Lugano club president over a move.
It is not beyond doubt that Leeds are his next destination, with German and Italian teams interested in him, according to German website 4-4-2.
With Lugano at least accepting they cannot hold onto the winger who has just one year left on his contract, half of Leeds’ job is done, and just convincing the player to choose them remains.
