The Arsenal youngster would be a useful addition to the Leeds United squad.
Thomas Christiansen
Despite having the foundations of what is an already strong group of players at Elland Road, new Whites boss Thomas Christiansen has a lot of work to do over the summer, if he is to galvanise his troops into becoming a unit who are capable of achieving promotion to the Premier League.
One particular area of concern for the former APOEL boss will be his forward options, after Leeds became too heavily reliant on Chris Wood during last season’s Championship campaign.
The 44-year-old explained to the press yesterday how he has a strong belief in his footballing philosophies, but highlighted the need for him to be flexible from both a tactical and style standpoint, if he is to be successful during his time in West Yorkshire.
With this in mind, the addition of a pacey striker – someone with different attributes to the New Zealand international, will surely feature highly on his agenda.
This would give him the opportunity to play with two strikers up front, and in turn, make his side less predictable to play against.
And the Whites should consider making a loan offer for Gunners forward Chuba Akpom, who looks like once again finding his playing time severely limited at the Emirates.
The 21-year-old is still a raw talent, and his blistering pace would offer Leeds a totally different threat in forward areas.

His skill-set would enable him to form a lethal ‘little and large’ partnership with Wood, what with the Arsenal man’s ability to run in behind opposition defences. This would give the Whites hitman more space with which to operate in and around the penalty box, and could even see him improve upon his impressive goal tally from last term.
Leeds will have their reservations about making a move for Akpom, however.
The 21-year-old has endured some rather underwhelming loan spells away from north London throughout his career, so surely now he will realise that he is approaching his last chance saloon.
He will be absolutely desperate to showcase his true ability, and prove that he still has what it takes to make it at the highest level.
And with that kind of motivation, the Arsenal striker could very well turn out to be a hit with the Elland Road faithful, and if Christiansen manages to bring him to the club this summer, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance.
