Wolves have clinched the signing of Phil Ofosu-Ayeh, according to German news outlet Kicker.

Ofosu-Ayeh has signed a three-year deal with Wolves, with the Championship beating beating off competition from German side FC Union.

The right-back had spent the past two seasons at German club Braunschweig.

Ofosu-Ayeh has dual German and Ghanaian nationality and has been capped at international level with Ghana, back in 2015.

His contract was set to expire at the end of this month and he moves to Wolves on a free transfer.

The 25-year-old follows Roderick Miranda in joining Nuno Santo's Wolves, with the defender joining on a four-year deal from Portuguese club Rio Ave last week.

GhanaSoccerNet reported last month that Ofosu-Ayeh was in talks with Wolves after turning down a contract extension at Braunschweig.
