Rangers' Harry Forrester (L) celebrates scoring against St Mirren with Andrew Halliday
Forrester is expected to leave Rangers this summer after being deemed surplus to requirements by Gers boss Pedro Caixinha.
Caixinha is overseeing a major overhaul of his squad this summer and he is willing to let Forrester and a number of other players to leave to free up space in his squad.
Forrester has spent the last 18 months at Rangers after joining from Doncaster Rovers in December 2015.

The former Aston Villa youngster made 28 appearances in all competitions for Rangers last season, but struggled to hold down a spot in the starting XI.
Rangers have made Forrester available this summer even though he still has two years to run on his contract at Ibrox and the news has alerted a number of clubs in England.
Charlton are weighing up a move for Forrester as Addicks boss Karl Robinson looks to rebuild his squad at the Valley to try and put them in a position to challenge for promotion from League One next season.
