Arsenal supporters were split when the club handed Arsene Wenger a contract extension last month - but Tottenham fans welcomed the move.
A group of Spurs fans made their delight clear last night at the European Under-21 Championships, making it onto Italian television station RAI TV showing 'Wenger In' banners.
The same supporters were spotted in the ground earlier in the evening with their banners.
Tottenham finished above Arsenal last season for the first time in Arsene Wenger's two-decade long reign as Gunners boss.
Wenger may want to decry it as a one-off, and statistically that is correct, but this has been threatening ever since Mauricio Pochettino took over as Tottenham head coach.

Tottenham's young side have pushed hard for the Premier League title over the past two seasons, and they will be strongly fancied by many pundits to go one better next season.
And unlike Arsenal they do not have the unwanted distraction of the Europa League to worry about next season.
Arsene Wenger is under pressure to prove to the world that Arsenal made the right choice in backing him - and ram the Tottenham taunts right back at their rivals.
