Monaco's Thomas Lemar celebrates
Liverpool are reported this week by Telefoot to be in the mix to sign AS Monaco winger Thomas Lemar.
Lemar scored 14 goals in all competitions for Monaco last season and also provided 14 assists.
Where Liverpool could really get the edge is by pushing through a move for Lemar's teammate Benjamin Mendy, as has already been suggested, by The Mirror.
Left-back is a priority position for the Reds and Mendy is the most high calibre target on their radar.
The pair linked up superbly down the left flank for Monaco last season, and signing both rather than simply one would help the other settle and flourish at Anfield.

A double deal would take substantial investment, but Liverpool appear to have cash ready to spend this summer as their aborted pursuit of Virgil van Dijk suggested before they backed off.
Mendy managed eight assists from left-back last season - more than every Liverpool player managed barring Georginio Wijnaldum (9).
Adding him in to play behind the even more prolific Lemar would give Liverpool arguably the strongest left side in the league, and a ready made partnership.
