Manchester City's Kelechi Iheanacho in action
The 20-year-old is expected to struggle for game-time again at the Etihad net term, with so much impressive attacking talent ahead of him in the pecking order.
Rumours began to surface regarding his future in Manchester last month, after reports linked him with a move to West Ham, and Sky Sports went as far to claim that the east Londoners had actually submitted an offer for the Nigerian.
SkyBET swiftly installed Slaven Bilic's men as 1/4 favourites to sign Iheanacho this summer, but they updated their odds yesterday, with Leicester now leading the running at evens, with the Hammers now drifting out to 6/4.
The 20-year-old would be a superb signing for either Leicester or West Ham. His electric pace and clinical finishing would surely prove to be a fanatic asset for both sides.
It could be argued, however, that the Hammers are more in need of someone with the Nigerian's quality, with so many talented strikers already in and amongst the Foxes squad.
At £20 million though, it would be no surprise to see more clubs enter the race for Iheanacho, and you would have to be a brave man to bet on where he will be plying his trade next season, that's for sure.
