As announced on the Hoopsofficial website this afternoon, the Glasgow giants have signed Hayes from Scottish Premiership rivals Aberdeen.

Hayes knows the Scottish Premiership inside out, and the winger could prove to be stunning signing for Celtic.

The Republic of Ireland international is certainly going to enhance Brendan Rodgers’s side’s chances of winning the Scottish Premiership, the Scottish League Cup and the Scottish Cup again next season.

The former Leicester City and Inverness Caledonian Thistle winger is going to add depth and strength to the squad, although it remains to be seen what impact he makes for the Hoops in Europe.

Celtic will be aiming to qualify for the group stage of the Champions League for the second season in a row.
