Monaco's Djibril Sidibe celebrates scoring against Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur are on the hunt for a new right-back, with it looking increasingly likely that Kyle Walker will be on his way out of the club this summer
Plenty of names have been linked with filling the right-back role at Spurs as a consequence, including that of Monaco and France defender Djibril Sidibe.
France's defender Djibril Sidibe arrives to attend a press conference at the French national football team training base in Clairefontaine
According to a report from Le 10 Sport, he is said to be very keen on the idea of playing for Tottenham Hotspur, who he scored against in the Champions League last season.
If Tottenham did manage to get hold of the player, it might make Arsenal feel a little sick.
Monaco's Djibril Sidibe
Monaco snapped up Sidibe from Lille last summer. At the same time as Monaco were interested, Arsenal were also said to be keen.
It was reported by talkSPORT that Arsenal were in talks over a £12 million move for the player last July.
However, Arsenal failed to get their man and just the day after Arsenal apparently made their late move, he was unveiled as a Monaco player.

Now, one year on, he is being heralded as one of the best versatile full-backs in the world and Tottenham look to have moved into pole position to sign him.
Arsenal must make sure they are not left ruing a transfer mistake with the 24-year-old Frenchman.
