Motherwell are poised to continue their summer recruitment drive with the signing of former Coventry City midfielder Andy Rose on a free transfer, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Rose is available on a free transfer after seeing out his contract at the Ricoh Arena and Motherwell have moved quickly to agree a move for the 27-year-old.
Rose, who joined Coventry from Seattle Sounders in January 2016, made 28 appearances in all competitions for Coventry last season, scoring three goals and creating three assits, but he could not prevent them from suffering relegation to League Two.

The Australian-born midfielder will become Motherwell’s fifth signing of the summer and will join former Coventry team-mate Gael Bigirimana at Fir Park.
Rose came through the ranks at Bristol City before moving to the United States to play college football at the University of California and from there he won a move to Seattle Sounders.
The defensive midfielder spent four years with Seattle before joining Coventry and he will now look to continue his career in the Scottish Premiership.
Motherwell finished ninth last season and manager Stephen Robinson is determined to add to his squad after losing a number of first-team players at the end of last season.
