Everton and reportedly keeping tabs on Manchester United’s young goalkeeper.
Everton manager Ronaldo Koeman
According to reports from The Sunday People (printed edition page 56), Premier League clubs Everton and West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing Manchester United’s young goalkeeper, Dean Henderson.
The 20-year-old signed a long term deal in 2015, but he is yet to feature for the senior side. The youngster is concerned about lack of first team opportunities, and talks of an extension have come to a standstill.
With David De Gea, Sergio Romero, and Joel Pereira ahead of him in the pecking order, it is hard to see the youngster getting enough opportunities at Old Trafford next season.
Dean Henderson
The report suggests that his contract situation has alerted both Everton and West Brom.
Henderson was a part of England’s triumphant squad at the Under-20 World Cup, where he was just involved in the 1-1 draw with Guinea in the final.
Everton are reportedly in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer, with Ronald Koeman being unconvinced by both Joel Robles and Maarten Stekelenburg.

The Toffees have been linked with a move for Sunderland’s Jordan Pickford, but are reluctant to meet his £30m asking price [The Express].
In case Everton manage to secure a deal for Henderson, it is highly unlikely that they would stick a rookie like Henderson for the number one role.
