This summer, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will have to take a big decision regarding Daniel Sturridge.

When fit and firing, Sturridge looks class apart. However, his recurrent injuries have always been causing major headaches for the Reds.

He is on a £120k-per-week wage package, according to Daily Star, at Liverpool, which makes him one of the top earners at the club. And yet, Liverpool are struggling to get the best out of him.

Former Liverpool defender and club hero, John Arne Riise, says that Sturridge should leave the Anfield club if he wants to play regularly. He made those remarks in a Q and A session with his followers on Twitter.

Sturridge has been strongly linked with a move to Premier League newcomers Newcastle United. According to reports from the Chronicle, Newcastle United have been offered the chance to sign the 27-year-old this summer.

The move will suit all parties involved. Liverpool will be able to cash in on the striker, while Newcastle can hardly expect to attract a better player than him. Moreover, Sturridge will be an automatic starter at Tyneside, and can revive his career under Rafa Benitez.
