Leeds fans are not happy at hearing the news that Garry Monk has been appointed Middlesbrough manager.

Middlesbrough have confirmed that Garry Monk is their manager and signed a three-year deal with the club.
Monk has only been out of a job for a few weeks after leaving his previous position at Leeds United after failing to come to an agreement with new owner Andrea Radrizzani.

Boro, meanwhile, have been looking for a permanent successor to Aitor Karanka since March, with Steve Agnew having been caretaker boss since then.
During that time the Teesside club were relegated from the Premier League and are now preparing for life back in the Championship.

Monk guided Leeds to seventh place in 2016/17, just outside of the playoffs, and having also taken Swansea City to their highest ever Premier League points tally in 2014/15, the 38-year-old has a decent CV.
However, the Elland Road faithful are not happy with seeing the manager they backed so wholeheartedly last term become boss at another Yorkshire club in the same division.
