One of his former signings that fans would love to see is Belgian winger Zakaria Bakkali.

In 2013 he was wanted by most of the big teams across Europe. He was even being dubbed the ‘new Eden Hazard’ after his excellent form at PSV Eindhoven.

His time at PSV came to an acrimonious end in 2015 and he headed to Valencia in July 2015, when Nuno was manager at the Mestalla.

He never had a real chance to work with the player, as Nuno was sacked in November that year.

The 21-year-old is now struggling for football at the club, who have strong links with Nuno’s agent and Wolves-linked super agent Jorge Mendes.

Bakkali, who has two caps for Belgium, simply needs to be playing regular football if he is to ever realise his massive potential. Wolves could give him the opportunity to be a star in the Championship and push for promotion.
