Tottenham's Vincent Janssen reacts after having a goal disallowed
Arjen Robben has been singing the praises of Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen, even if he did do so by calling his countryman ‘greedy’.
Janssen scored as the Dutch thrashed Ivory Coast earlier in the week. But he could have bagged a brace, had he taken the 32nd minute penalty that was dispatched by captain Arjen Robben.

Janssen wanted to take the penalty, by which way most of his meagre tally of six goals for Spurs have come this season, but Robben took it instead.
Speaking of the minor disagreement between the pair, the Dutch captain hailed the Spurs star for wanting to take on the opportunity. He is quoted by De Telegraaf as stating:
"I think Vincent is just very greedy and that is only right. He needs goals and confidence. A striker is judged by his goals, but I think he is very important for the team. He works, drag is strong in the combination and used well his body.
“We must take advantage of him. He is still the goalscorer, he’s typical. How he responds to the second ball and he had an assist as well. All good."

Tottenham signed the 22-year-old last summer as a back-up to Harry Kane but he has looked off the mark in his debut season in England. Despite his incredible scoring record with AZ Alkmaar the Dutchman has looked devoid of confidence in front of goal bit does still appear to have the hunger to carry on for Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs have options to sell the player, but if he can make some improvements to his game he may still prove a good back-up to star-man Kane.
