For the past few seasons, Alexandre Lacazette has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, with heavyweight clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United been linked from time to time.

The French striker has scored over 20 goals in his last four seasons, and in 2016/17 campaign, he has hit 37 goals in all competitions.

According to reports from The Mirror, Arsene Wenger, who has been handed a massive £165 million war-chest, has included the Lyon goal-machine as one of his prime targets this summer.

However, the Gunners may face a stiff competition from Liverpool who are reportedly ready to secure the Frenchman from the Premier League rivals.

Lacazette is determined to play in the Champions League something that Liverpool can offer him next season and Arsenal cannot.

The Sunday Express claims that Liverpool could meet his advisors next week, and the Reds are hopeful of securing his signature.

Lacazette is playing at a top level and Liverpool would get a player who is approaching the peak of his career. He would improve Liverpool’s squad immensely and would be a top signing.
