Wimbledon goalkeeper Joe Bursik has attracted interest from Stoke City and Derby County, but Crystal Palace are eager to tempt the youngster across the capital, reports London News Online.

16-year-old Bursik has been on Wimbledon's books for half of his life, but is said to be wanted elsewhere after attracting plaudits while on international duty with England.

Bursik was an ever-present during the Three Lions' Under-17 European Championship campaign last month, which ended in a final defeat to Spain on penalties.

The report claims Palace are ready to firm up their interest in Bursik, who signed a new contract with Wimbledon in January and is "likely [to] command a sizeable fee" should he leave Kingsmeadow this summer.

And the prospect of a move across south London could appeal to the teenager, over relocating to the Midlands with Stoke or Derby County.

Stoke, who signed veteran goalkeeper Lee Grant from Derby in January, will perhaps have one eye on the future with a number of top clubs said to have shown interest in regular number 1 Jack Butland prior to his injury.

Could Stoke or Derby persuade Bursik to snub Crystal Palace? Or will he stay put?
