Sheffield United fans have reacted unexpectedly well to Wolverhampton Wanderers' capture of Ryan Bennett... or have they?
Bennett was said to have held talks with the Blades after being released by Norwich City earlier this month.
However, no sooner had those reports emerged, the once £3 million player had signed a three-year deal with Wolves.

With more than 150 appearances in England's top two divisions and three caps for this country's under-21s, no one could begrudge those of a Sheffield United persuasion feeling somewhat disappointed by the news.
So why then, are Blades fans so seemingly unmoved?

With Bennett choosing WWFC - I wonder if Wilder will step up interest in both Richard Stearman & EEL? #twitterblades— NRB (@8NRB_) 31 May 2017
Does that mean Wolves might let EEL join Blades seeing as they missed out on signing Bennett?— John G (@GriftersUnited) 31 May 2017
Wolves' Ethan Ebanks-Landell spent last season on loan to Sheffield United, whom he helped to the League One title.
But while Blades boss Chris Wilder has admitted a desire to resign the 24-year-old this summer, his chances had seemed slim after Wolves tied him to a new long-term contract in January.

In addition, the Molineux side recently allowed two centre-backs to leave at the end of their deals, although Bennett's arrival from Norwich could be a step in the right direction for Wilder and co.
Could Ebanks-Landell return to Sheffield United after Bennett's move from Norwich?
