Goldman Crowned

Deutsche Bank has appointed Jeffrey Mensch to its M&A team as a managing director.

Reuters reports that he joins from billionaire Ron Perelman's investment company MacAndrews & Forbes (M&F), where he was senior vice president in the finance department for three years.

Mensch, based in New York, will join Deutsche Bank in early June. He will report to Charlie Dupree, head of M&A, the Americas.

In the meantime, the news agency also reports that Goldman Sachs has promoted Elizabeth Martin as head of EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) execution and EMEA equities systematic market making, according to a memo on Tuesday.

Martin, who also assumes the role of global chief operating officer for equities electronic execution services, or e-trading, will relocate to London from New York where she was head of systematic market making (SMM) for U.S. Listed Options.
