Bookmakers Sky Bet have released odds on Gael Clichy's next club, with Liverpool's odds cut in half already.

Southampton were listed as 6/1 favourites earlier this morning [Tuesday], with Liverpool and Stoke City both occupying odds of 7/1.

Just a few hours later, however, it is the Reds who are the bookies' new front-runners at 7/2.

Both Liverpool and Southampton are expected to enter the market for left-backs this summer, with the former deploying midfielder James Milner there for much of the campaign, while the Saints are said to have interest in Ryan Bertrand from teams including Jurgen Klopp's.

Another being credited with an interest in Bertrand are Manchester City, who Clichy has admitted he will leave after six seasons at the Etihad Stadium.

The 31-year-old, who has won Premier League titles at both Arsenal and City, is out of contract at the end of next month.
