Paul Merson tips Tottenham to end the season on a high with a victory.

Last season was a learning experience for Tottenham. They had a poor run of results in the final weeks of the 2015/16 campaign, and lost 5-1 to Newcastle United away to St James’ Park on the final day of the season.
Paul Merson doesn't expect a repeat of such a performance when Spurs travel to KCOM stadium to face the already relegated Hull City on Sunday afternoon.
Spurs, second in the Premier League, bounced back from their shock 1-0 defeat against West Ham to secure two wins on the trot. They are heading into this match with full confidence after beating Leicester City 6-1 in the midweek.
Hull City had been punching above their weight under Marco Silva, but their fate was sealed after two poor results.

After earning a point away to Southampton, they lost two crucial matches against Sunderland and Crystal Palace. On paper, those two were relatively easier fixtures to deal with, but the Tigers threw it away when it really mattered.
Spurs have another motivation going into this tie. Harry Kane is on 26 goals, two more than Everton’s Romelu Lukaku, and the Tottenham players will try to help him score a few more on Sunday so that he can win the Golden boot.
“Hull are on a downer now. They had two shocking results and two shocking performances to be honest,” said Merson to Sky Sports.
“Tottenham will want to end on a high and I think the players will by trying to help Harry Kane win the Golden Boot.
“I don't see any let up from Tottenham. They will carry on right to the end and I don't see them finishing the season like they did against Newcastle last year.”
